Nordic Track 2200R Treadmill ($999)

Overall Treadmill Rating: 8.7

If you like the Nordic Track name and want one of their better treadmills, the Nordic Track 2200R is worth a look.  It offers something unique: Reflex Deck cushioning. Reflex decks react twice with each stride. When you step down, the deck flattens to absorb impact, then springs back to its original shape, returning energy to your stride. It has actually rated quite highly with both experts and users.

Other features of the Nordic Track 2200R include a 2.0 CHP motor, 12% incline, iFit compatibility and a 300 lb user weight capacity.  While it doesn't offer the solid feel and construction of the treadmills above, it's a fairly good folding treadmill for under $1000.
